Operation Homefront, a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, builds strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities – OUR communities – they have worked so hard to protect.
For over twenty years, OH has provided supportive programs and services to military families all across the United States. Operation Homefront receives its funding from community sponsorships, corporate and individual donations, and also participates in numerous fundraising events throughout the year. It is through the ongoing support of our partners, donors, and volunteers that we are able to continue fulfilling our mission to build strong, stable, and secure military families.
Operation Homefront, Inc. is committed to efficiency and transparency. We communicate with our supporters, donors, and prospective donors by email, postal mail, phone, and other means, both to request contributions to our cause and to educate the public about the unique challenges military families face, our mission, programs, volunteer opportunities, and events in local communities. These efforts help advance our mission to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities -OUR communities – they have worked so hard to protect.
As a result, in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidance, Operation Homefront, Inc. allocates a portion of our fundraising costs to program services. As a nonprofit organization that is exempt from federal taxation, we ensure our donors’ money is spent as efficiently and effectively as possible.
