Andre Hawkins joined Operation Homefront as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer in July 2019. In this role, he provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s financial operations, administrative functions, and technology infrastructure. He directs the Accounting, Information Technology, and Business Intelligence teams, ensuring strong financial stewardship, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence. Andre also partners closely with the Senior Leadership Team and supports the Finance/Audit, Technology/Cybersecurity Committees, and the Board of Directors.
With more than 35 years of experience spanning both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, Andre brings deep expertise in financial management, audit oversight, and organizational leadership. Prior to joining Operation Homefront, he spent 13 years serving the senior living community as Chief Financial Officer for Haverland Carter Lifestyle Group and Air Force Villages, Inc. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles with Texaco (now part of Chevron) and Alcoa and his professional journey also included time in public accounting as an auditor.
Andre earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Western Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He considers it a privilege to serve military members and veterans, honoring his family’s legacy of service, including relatives who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and in both the Air Force and Army.
