Leadership

Rear Admiral Alan Reyes, U.S. Navy, Retired

Chief Executive Officer

With the growing challenges our military families face, the Operation Homefront team will continue to work tirelessly to ensure their strength, stability, and security so they can succeed in the communities they have worked so hard to protect.

Alan Reyes joined Operation Homefront as Chief Executive Officer in December 2024. Alan brings over 30 years of leadership experience, spanning not-for-profit, military, a high-growth start-up organization, and he serves on multiple fiduciary and advisory boards.

Prior to Operation Homefront, Alan served as Chief of International Operations at Spirit of America and Chief Operating Officer of United Service Organizations (USO), providing operational strategy, executive leadership for global operations and programs, information technology and cybersecurity, and merger/post-merger integration activities. Prior to that, he rapidly scaled operations for K12 Inc., a start-up for-profit education technology company, leading to its successful public offering.

In addition to his private sector experience, Alan served in the US Navy, retiring as a Rear Admiral and as the Navy Reserve’s senior logistics officer. During his Navy career, Alan made multiple worldwide deployments, including service aboard a nuclear-powered fast-attack submarine, command of expeditionary logistics units, and multiple humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations.

His flag officer assignments included Deputy Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command, the US Navy’s global supply chain organization; Commander, Navy Expeditionary Logistics Group, providing expeditionary logistics capabilities to geographic combatant commanders across the globe; and Reserve Director, Logistics, Fleet Supply, and Ordnance, US Pacific Fleet.

Alan is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.
