Face-to-Face Fundraising
Every day, our passionate, trained fundraisers are out in the community sharing the urgent challenges our families face and the support that Operation Homefront provides across our great nation.
Through these meaningful, in-person conversations, our face-to-face fundraising teams raise awareness and inspire thousands of people to become recurring donors. Reliable, ongoing donations allow Operation Homefront to respond immediately when crisis strike and to consistently address military and veteran families most pressing needs – from food insecurity, critical financial assistance with a family’s basic needs, to temporary or permanent housing for those critical transitions to civilian life.
How Our Fundraisers Work
Operation Homefront partners with a trusted fundraising agency, GiveBridge, to help us reach as many supporters as possible. Every fundraiser representing Operation Homefront is a paid, professional fundraiser who is trained to speak about our mission, programs and the impact you can have as an ongoing supporter.
You can easily identify an official Operation Homefront fundraiser by:
- An Operation Homefront branded blue polo-shirt
- A name badge displaying their name, ID number, and the agency they work for
- A tablet used to securely collect donations
Our fundraisers are friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer your questions about how your recurring support helps military and veteran families thrive.
Where We Work
Operation Homefront fundraisers work in cities across the country in a variety of settings. You may meet one of our teams on a busy public sidewalk, going door-to-door in your neighborhood, tabling at a farmers’ market or shopping center or at a special event. If you meet one of our teams in your community, we encourage you to say hello and learn more about how you can get involved.
Our teams are primarily located in the metro areas listed below, but they love to travel to inspire people in towns and cities around the nation.
