Kyler Olejnik serves as Vice President of Housing for Operation Homefront, leading the organization’s national housing portfolio and advancing initiatives that provide stability, support, and a strong foundation for military families transitioning to civilian life.
A dedicated military spouse and advocate for service members and their families, Kyler brings more than 15 years of experience in human services, program leadership, and operations management. Since joining Operation Homefront in 2013 as a volunteer in San Diego, she has progressed through a series of leadership roles, reflecting her deep commitment to the mission and the families served.
Throughout her tenure, Kyler has led family support initiatives and coordinated critical services for wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir. She directed the Maryland Transitional Housing Village, providing direct case management and overseeing the onsite program, before advancing to supervise Village operations. She then spearheaded the launch of Operation Homefront’s Transitional Housing Apartments program, expanding access to high-quality housing support for military families.
Today, Kyler oversees Operation Homefront’s four national housing programs which include Permanent Homes for Veterans (PHV), Transitional Homes for Veterans (THV), Transitional Housing – Villages (TH-V), and Transitional Housing – Apartments (TH-A), leading a dedicated team to ensure operational excellence and the delivery of compassionate, high-quality housing solutions.
Kyler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, magna cum laude, from Kean University.
