Davidson

Ashlee Davidson is a strategic communications executive driving business results through executive messaging, employee engagement and brand performance. Previously, she served as vice president of Communications for Missiles and Fire Control, leading a team of approximately 100 communicators supporting programs that protect the United States. She also co-chaired the organization’s Culture Optimization Team and sponsored the annual Women’s Impact Network Leadership Forum and the Black Excellence Council. Davidson joined Lockheed Martin in 2019 as integrated communications director for corporate headquarters, leading strategic communications for six corporate functions and overseeing employee communications channels. Before joining Lockheed Martin, she led internal and executive communications at L3Harris Technologies. She began her career in 2003 as an INROADS intern at Sikorsky Aircraft, then part of United Technologies Corporation, advancing through roles of increasing responsibility in internal communications. She earned a B.S. in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University and M. S. degrees in business communications from Quinnipiac University and organizational leadership from Capella University. She is a graduate of the UTC Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Davidson is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the National Association of Black Journalists. She holds leadership roles with The Links, Incorporated and Jack and Jill of America. In 2024, she was named a PRNEWS Brand Reputation Maven. In 2023, she was named a PRNEWS Top Woman in PR and received the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Young Professional Leadership ATHENA Award.
